📖 How to access your devices from outside your network (port forwarding)

Step 1 — Find your external IP (click Detect above)
Step 2 — Set up port forwarding on your router:
  • Login to your router (usually 192.168.1.1 or 10.0.0.1)
  • Go to Port Forwarding / Virtual Server settings
  • Add a rule: External Port → Internal IP:Port
    Example: Port 8080 → 192.168.1.100:80 (for a web camera)
    Example: Port 3389 → 192.168.1.50:3389 (for RDP to a PC)
Step 3 — Connect from anywhere:
  • Use your external IP + the forwarded port
  • e.g. http://YOUR_EXTERNAL_IP:8080

💡 For a permanent address, use a DDNS service (DuckDNS, No-IP) so your external IP is always reachable even if it changes
